J&K has to be liberated from cobweb of exploitation: PDP
Jammu, Nov 29 (UNI) Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today said his party had started making strong inroads into the border areas of Jammu region, enticing opinion-builders from these areas into the party fold.
Addressing a public rally, the PDP Patron said his party was fast emerging as a credible political force across the state that has been relentlessly striving for the political and economic interests of the people in all regions and sub-regions of the State.
''PDP's greatest asset is the party's credibility among the masses given its unwavering stand on the crucial issues concerning the fate of the State and its people,'' he said, adding that the public acknowledgment of the PDP's contribution in transforming the State's political and economic discourse is a matter of immense contentment for the party.
He further said the people of Jammu and Kashmir would have to dismantle all such imaginary barriers and reap the benefits of globalisation and economic liberalisation sweeping the region.
