Bengali labourer among 2 killed and 5 injured in Kashmir

Srinagar , Nov 29 (UNI) Two people were killed and five others injured while two houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.

A Bengali labourer Abdul Salam, son of Sirajuddin, resident of West Bengal died while lifting wood logs in Plywood Factory at Gulzarpora Awantipora.

A maruti car hit and critically wounded one Ghulam Hassan Dar at Parraypora Sopore, about 55 km from here. He was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital here, where he succumbed to his injuries, the sources added.

Four people were wounded when two vehicles collided at Kupwara while another person was and critically injured by a motorcyclist at Gulgam. The injured were hospitalised.

Two residential houses were gutted at Bilal Colony Krungsoo Anantnag and Shah Mohallah Shopian.
