Advinus opens Corporate HO and Development Centre in Bangalore

Bangalore, Nov 29 (UNI) Advinus Therapeutics, a TATA Enterprise, today opened its state-of-the-art corporate office and Development Centre here.

Advinus Managing Director and CEO Dr Rashmi Barbhaiya speaking to newsmen said that "the development centre, first of its kind in Inida, provides comprehensive services for development of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals under one roof to Indian as well as global companies." "This is yet another example of India's emerging role in supporting drug development with efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Our state-of-the-art laboratories and a seasoned team with over 150 years of experience in developing INDs and NDAs in large pharma are uniquely positioned to leverage the India advantage.", he added.

Dr Barbhaiya said that the Bangalore Centre would take up Research and Development of invention made in the Green Field Drug Centre, Pune.

He said that Advinus company established in 2005 had made a mark among the international Drug manufacturing companies and has received a two year contract for 'Carcinogenic' study dealing with research relating to Cancer from a US based company.

Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata would formally inaugurated the Centre set up on eight acre campus with about 210,000 sq ft of built up space.
