25 buffaloes die after consuming 'unhealthy' fodder

Ludhiana, Nov 29 (UNI) As many as 25 buffaloes died after consuming 'unhealthy' fodder at a dairy farm in the Adrash Nagar locality of the city here today.

According to a police report another 15 buffaloes were taken ill.

The police has registered a case and sent the dead animals for post mortem at the Guru Angad Veterinary Sciences and Rsearch University here. Samples of the fodder which had been purchased from a farmer by the dairy owner had been sent for analysis to the Veterinary University.
