Vishveshthirtha Swamiji advises Ms Uma Bharati to withdraw her candi

Bangalore, Nov 28 (UNI) Sri Vishveshatirtha Swamiji of Udupi Pejawar Mutt today advised Bharatiya Jana Shakti leader Uma Bharati to withdraw her candidates in the Gujarat Assembly elections and work for consolidation of Hindu forces.

In a release here, the Swamiji said "I have instructed my disciple Uma Bharati that it will be advisable for her to consolidate the Hindu forces by withdrawing the candidates and thereby clear the confusion in the minds of Hindu society." He said that he held detailed talks with many prominent Saints and sannyasins about the political situation prevailing in Gujarat and in favour of Hindu consolidation it would be better that division of Hindu forces was avoided.

The Swamiji said that "on my part, I will continue to have dialogue with the Saints in Gujrat to find solution to their problems and I have advised Uma Bharati to address to Hindu society for consolidation and solution to their problems".
