Ayodhya, Nov 28 (UNI) The 15th anniversary of the demolition of the disputed structure in Ayodhya would be observed as 'Shaurya Diwas' (Day of chivalry) by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and its associated organisations here.
Meanwhile, the day would be observed as 'Yaum-e-gham' (Day of sorrow) by the All India Babri Masjid Action Committee (AIBMAC) and other Muslim organisations.
The disputed structure in Ayodhya was demolished on December 6, 1992 here.
''The anniversary would be observed as 'Shaurya Diwas' at the party headquarters in Karsewak Puram, where the pledge for building a temple at the disputed site would be renewed,'' VHP sources informed here today.
On the other hand, BMAC and Muslim organisations would appeal to the people to rebuild the Babri Masjid at the disputed site.
The district administration has already beefed up the security in wake of the anniversary.
