TN to be more Industrial friendly : CS

Chennai, Nov 28 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary (CS) L K Tripathy today said the State would be more Industrial friendly by offering excellent package to companies across various Industrial spectrums.

In a special address during a meeting with Netherlands business delegation to India, he said the package would include Industrial strengths, highly skilled human resources, coupled with quality of power, relatively low cost of living, infrastructure and connectivity with other States and nations.

"With the existing export-basked and the inherent strengths of Tamil Nadu to attract companies across the Industrial spectrum and good infrastructure, the State would emerge as one of the best Industrial hubs in the country", he added.

Mr Tripathy said the Government was continuously reviewing its policies to create investor-friendly environment in various sectors.

"In addition, due emphasis was being laid to boost foreign investment, relax trade and investment regimes, accelerate privitisation, cutdown on corruption, and substantially increase spending on its physical and human infrastructure", he added.

He also urged the Netherland business community to extend its trade with the State.

The delegation's visit to Tamil Nadu would go a long way in realising our vision for the future growth and development of the State and Netherlands", he added.
