TADA court receives intimation on Dutt's bail

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) The designated TADA court here is learnt to have received intimation from the apex court on the bail orders granted to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and 16 others convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blast case.

Stating that intimation has reached through the High Court, a TADA court official today said the High Court has already got the intimation through fax.

''The bail order was supposed to be received by the court through e-mail. But, we don't have such a facility, hence there was delay,'' the official said.

Dutt, who was lodged in Pune's Yerawada Central Prison since October this year, was granted bail by the Supreme Court yesterday and the CBI did not oppose the bail plea.

All the convicts had been lodged in different jails after being awarded imprisonment for their roles in the blast.
