Sanjay Chauhan files nomination papers
Shimla, Nov 28 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPM) candidate Sanjay Chauhan accompanied by a number of his followers today filed his nomination papers for the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections.
Addressing the supporters after filing the nomination, Mr Chauhan alleged that successive state governments had miserably failed to solve the drinking water problem of the residents. He said besides drinking water problem, which would remain the major poll plank during the ensuing elections, other issues that CPM would raise prominently includes regularisation of temporary shops, expanding the public distribution system, resistance of the move to privatise various boards and corporations.
