Rains likely in Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Pune, Nov 28 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Karnataka.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in southwest Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Haryana and in remaining parts of Jammu and Kashmir, south Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. They were below normal in south Konkan and Goa and in some parts of Punjab, Saurashtra and Madhya Maharashtra.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Manipur, Sikkim, Jharkhand and in remaining parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. They were above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Marathwada, Telangana and Rayalseema. They were normal over the rest of the country.
