Chennai, Nov 28 (UNI) TNCC President M Krishnasswamy today urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to intervene in the alleged discrimination faced by Tamil origins in Malaysia through the Ministry of External Affairs.

In a letter to Prime Minister, a copy of which was available to the media here, he pointed out that people of Malay and Chinese origins were enjoying major share in employment and establishment of industries while Indians were discriminated.

Listing out their demands, Mr Krishnasswamy said the Tamil origins should be given opportunities in employment and also in establishment of industries without any discrimination.

Observing that the problem may lead to some other consequences, he sought Prime Minister's intervention on the issue through the Ministry of External Affairs to solve the issue amicably.
