Plan to install fountain in Sukhna Lake

Chandigarh, Nov 28 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration plans to install a fountain in the famous Sukhna Lake here.

The Administration has constituted a committee to examine the proposal from various aspects concerning environment, preservation of the lake and its ecology and engineering.

The committee comprises Prof. R K Kohli of Botany Department and Prof. M S Johal of Zoology department of Panjab University, Lt. Gen.

Baljit Singh, Chief Engineer and Deputy Conservator of Forests, Chandigarh .

The committee would submit its report in three weeks.
