NABARD to finance 17 hydel plants in the state
Patna, Nov 28 (UNI) Altogether 17 hydel power plants in the state will start generating electricity by March 2008 with the help of National Bank for Agricultural Development (NABARD).
According to official sources work at the 17 hydro electric projects was in progress at a cost of Rs 90.78 crores, adding most of the projects will be completed by March 2008.
NABARD had sanctioned Rs 60.15 crores and already granted Rs 37.54 crores, while the state government would take care of the rest of the finance, the sources added.
