New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) The debate on the controversial Indo-US civil nuclear cooperation deal will be initiated in the Lok Sabha tomorrow, official sources confirmed today.

The debate will be taken up at 1400 hours in the House under rule 193, which does not entail voting, and will be completed tomorrow itself, sources said.

The Opposition NDA had earlier been demanding a discussion on the 123 Agreement with regard to the Nuclear Deal under rule 184, which entails voting.

The Left Parties had also expressed their reservation on the deal, saying it might affect the country's nuclear programme.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is expected to be present during the debate.

The Business Advisory Committee of the Rajya Sabha is likely to meet this evening to allot time for the debate on the issue.
