Eight injured in clash in punjab village
Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 28 (UNI) Eight persons were injured in a clash between two communities at Farour village near Khamano town of the district over a minor issue.
After receiving reports of the clash, senior police officials including Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Nilabh Kishore reached the spot to control the situation and rushed the injured to the Civil Hospital.
The clash took place following a collision belonging to two persons belonging to different communities. While one community indulged in stone pelting, a member of the other community resorted to firing from a weapon that resulted in injuries to three villagers and a police official.
The Khamano police has registered a case against members of both the groups.
