Eight injured in clash in Punjab
Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 28 (UNI) Eight people were injured in a clash between two communities at Farour village near Khamano town of the district here.
After receiving reports of the clash, senior police officials including Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Nilabh Kishore reached the spot to control the situation and rushed the injured to the Civil Hospital.
The clash took place following a fight between two people belonging to different communities. While one community indulged in stone pelting, a member of the other community resorted to firing from a weapon which resulted in injuries to three villagers and a police official.
The Khamano police had registered a case against the members of both the groups.
