CDM to organise annual seminar on Nov 29

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) The College of Defence Management (CDM) will organise a two-day annual seminar on 'Strategic Transformation Initiatives for Realising Joint Capabilities' at its campus from November 29 in the city.

Talking to newspersons here today, CDM Faculty of Resource Management Colonel PK Ganjoo said Union Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju would inaugurate the function. Several Army, Navy and Air Force officials would take part and deliver lectures on the issues pertaining to the defence management, he said.

He said CDM was imparting management training to officers of the rank of Colonels and above, besides, it was also offering defence management education programmes to the defence officials of 'friendly countries'.

The objectives of the CDM was to promote application of modern management concepts and techniques in the services and develop expertise in matters related to human and material resources, he said.
