BJ withdraws candidates for bypolls in MP

Bhopal, Nov 28 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) President Uma Bharti today directed to remove party candidates for by-elections from Khargone Lok Sabha seat and Sanver Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh.

According to party statement, Ms Bharti wrote a letter to newly-appointed state BJ President Ashok Tripathi to withdraw party candidates for upcoming bypolls in the state.

She said the presence of candidates under the shadow of decision of the party to remove candidates from Gujarat, could become laughable.

The sadhvi said she would inform about party's further strategy to party workers only after holding discussions.
