Two killed, eight injured in road accident

Sangrur, Nov 27: Two persons were killed and eight others injured, one seriously, when a tractor trolly collided head-on with a Tata Sumo near Ubhawal village in this district today.

Police sources said the tractor trolly, which was coming to Ubhawal from Sangrur, collided with Sumo killing the two persons who were in the tractor trolly. The deceased were identified as Dalbir Singh and Kuldip Singh.

The condition of one of the injureds, identified as Sukh Dev Singh, was stated to be critical.
