One killed, four injured in accident in HP

Solan, Nov 27 (UNI) One person was killed and four people injured when the car in which they were travelling rolled down into a gorge at Khaida in this district late last night, police said today.

The accident occurred at Khaida, about 60 km from here, in the industrial area of Baddi in the district after the driver of the car was blinded by the headlights of a vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

The police said the deceased had been identified as Nitu, a resident of Bihar, while efforts were on to identify the four injured in the accident.

The injured had been admitted to Block Hospital at Nalagarh in the district, it said.

A case had been registered and investigations were on, the police added.
