One killed, 50 injured in fog-related road mishaps

Phagwara, Nov 27 (UNI) One person was killed and 50 others sustained serious injuries in different road mishaps occurred during thick fog in and around Phillaur today.

The deceased was identified as one Joga Singh. The injured, including women and children, were admitted in different hospitals.

The mishaps occured when a truck rammed into a parked truck on the GT Road and other vehicles following it dashed against these collided vehicles. As many as 19 vehicles were damaged in these mishaps, reports received here said.

Poor visibility due to thick fog was said to be the cause of these accidents, police said.

UNI
