Mobiles, FM Radio cash seized from inmates in Jaipur Jail

Jaipur, Nov 27 (UNI) The Jail officials seized seven mobile phones, one FM radio and cash amount of Rs 1,230 from the possession of some inmates in the Central Jail here last night.

The seizures were made from two jail wards during a raid conducted by a special team of officials led by DIG(Jails) Purohit following the complaints about alleged nexus between prisoners and some jail personnel, an official spokesman said here today.

The authorities were investgating in the matter and were contemplating the measures to prevent such tendencies in future.

He said appropriate action would be taken against guilty personnel after completion of investigation in the case.
