Charkhi Dadri gets facelift ahead of Sonia's visit

Chandigarh, Nov 27 (UNI) The small town of Charkhi Dadri, a sub division in district Bhiwani, got a facelift in view of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi's scheduled visit here tomorrow.

Ms Gandhi will lay the foundation stones of two projects costing more than Rs 37 crore in Charkhi Dadri.

One of these projects is remodeling and widening of Dadri-Chhuchakwas-Jhajjar road costing Rs 21.6 crore and the other of Railway overbridge costing Rs 16 crore on Dadri-Jhajjar road.

The foundation stones will be laid by Ms Gandhi through a remote control in the premises of Apeejay Public School, Charkhi Dadri where she would also address the public assembled on the occasion.

Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) Dharambir Singh along with the Bhiwan Deputy Commissioner Satya Parkash TL and SDM Satbir Singh Lohchab reviewed the arrangements for Ms Gandhi's visit to Charkhi Dadri.
