Bhagalpur riots main accused sentenced to life

Bhagalpur, Nov 27 (UNI) A local sessions court today awarded life imprisonment to Kameshwar Yadav, the main accused in Bhagalpur riots case.

Additional District and Sessions judge Shambhunath Mishra found the accused guilty under IPC 364/149 and awarded him life imprisonment.

According to the charges, the convict was involved in surcharging the mob for riots and killed a person at Anandpur in the district during the riot on October 24, 1989.
