Rupee hits IT salaries

New Delhi, Nov 25, 2007 : The IT sector which has been doling out some of the biggest pay packets for the past few years seems to be slowing down and the reason here is the rising Rupee.

With company earnings on a downhill; employees obviously are also feeling the heat. An Assocham Eco Pulse study has revealed that in companies like Wipro, TCS, Satyam and Infosys last year, salaries grew by as much as 64%, but this year it was down to 25%.
