Flower prices shoot up, thanks to wedding season

the
wedding
season
kick
starting
early
this
week
prices
of
flowers
have
jumped
by
three
times.
Traders
say
that
the
demand
for
flowers
has
gone
up
by
almost
20-25
percent
compared
to
last
year.
Taking a look at specific varities, the wholesale prices of Tulip and vibrant Lilies have gone up to Rs 60 a stick against just about Rs 20 during the off-peak season.
