Aviation turbine fuel to rise again?

New Delhi, Nov 24, 2007 : With international oil prices touching $ 100 a barrel, domestic airlines are anticipating a 8-10 per cent hike in Aviation Turbine Fuel or ATF prices on 1st December that will lead to a higher fuel surcharge.

And it goes without saying that the hike would once again be passed on to the passengers. Airlines fear that peak season fares coupled with the new surcharges would threaten or slow down their business.
