Two CRPF jawans found dead on railway track

Jalandhar, Nov 26 (UNI) The GRP today recovered the bodies of two CRPF jawans from the railway track near Kartarpur in the district.

Police said that the two jawans, identified as Mandeep Singh, who was posted in Jammu and Kashmir and Amarjeet Singh, a resident of Qadian in Gurdaspur district, were probably killed by a speeding train when they were strolling near the railway track last night.

The two had came here to attend a marriage, the police said.

After registering a case under section 174 of the CrPC, the GRP sent the bodies for post mortem.
