Two cars of CM's motorcade damaged in accident

Hoshiarpur, Nov 26 (UNI) The motorcade of advance party team of the Punjab Chief Minister Punjab met with an accident at Aslamabad near here today.

Though no one was hurt, a car and a jeep of the CM's motorcade were damaged in the accident.

According to the police sources, the vehicles carrying the advance party was on way from Chandigarh to Gurdaspur via Hoshiarpur to cover the visit of the Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal there.

When the party reached near local Aslamabad, a car coming from opposite direction hit the car in the cavalcade, which was also rammed by the jeep following it On the complaint of constable driver Sanjiv Kumar, Sadar Police has registered an FIR under sections 279 and 427 of the IPC against the driver of the Indigo car Darshan Singh of Mahilpur.
