Three pick pockets arrested at Trade fair

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Showing a high sense of alertness and presence of mind, police arrested three pick pockets at the ongoing India International Trade fair here today.

Police said they noticed that a person later indentified as Nand Lal alias Nandu of Ghaziabad, trying to enter the over crowded places aimlessly and showing no interest in buying the products displayed there.

The police observed him for some time and after confirming that he was not an ordinary visitor, they nabbed him and recovered three mobile phones all without SIM cards, stolen from different halls at the fair.

He had been arrested several times earlier by the Delhi and UP police.

In another two cases of pick pocketing, IITF police arrested a woman Arti from UP and Rakesh of Haryana on the spot and recovered from them property which they had stolen from visitors at the trade fair.
