TCS awarded ICSI national award in corporate governance

Kolkata, Nov 26 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was awarded the ICSI national award for excellence in corporate governance 2007 here today.

The award was instituted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in an effort to recognise leadership efforts of corporate boards in practicing good corporate governance principles as well as innovative practices, board systems and procudures, high standard of disclosure and transparency to stakeholders.

TCS was selected for this award by a panel of juries headed by former Chief Justice of India V N Khare.
