Silver, Gold close higher on strong advice from global mkts

Mumbai, Nov 26: The Precious metals today closed firm with Silver gaining by Rs 140 per kg and Gold by Rs 145 per ten gm due to reduced offers by stockists in view of encouraging advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following were the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,765 (19,625) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,695 (10,550) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,745 (10,600).
