Scribe commits suicide in Punjab
Sangrur, Nov 26 (UNI) A local scribe today allegedly committed suicide by throwing himself before a running train on the outskirts of Dhuri near here, police said.
The deceased was identified as Baljit Singh (28), a resident of Benra village who was working with a Punjabi daily. He jumped before the Hisar bound passenger train near a railway crossing.
In his suicide note recovered from the railway crossing, the deceased alleged that his father-in-law Rajinder Singh, sister-in-law Gurmeet Kaur and one Sarkartar were responsible for his death. The police has registered a case and launched an investigation.
