Property attachment against 377 in MP

Bhopal, Nov 26 (UNI) Action for the attachment of property has been initiated against 377 people though the number of absconding warrantees in Madhya Pradesh stood at 21,161, the government told the Assembly today.

The absconders included 3,360 hailing from other states, Home Minister Himmat Kothari told Mr Satyadeo Katare (Congress) in a written reply, adding that rewards had been announced for the arrest of 1,814 absconders.

The number of permanent warrantees in the state stood at 27,380, he added.
