Prof S K Barua takes over as IIM-A Director

Ahmedabad, Nov 26 (UNI) Prof Samir Kumar Barua today took over as Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A).

Prof Barua had been on the faculty of IIM-A since 1980. He succeeds Dr Bakul H Dholakia, who stepped down as director on October 10 on completion of his five-year term.

During the intervening period, Prof Jayanth R Varma, Dean, officiated as director-in-charge.
