No GoM for new spectrum policy, says Comm Min Raja

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Communication and Information Technology Minister A Raja today said in the Lok Sabha that the Government had not constituted any Group of Ministers (GoM) to finalise a new spectrum policy.

Replying during the question hour, he, however, clarified that a GoM had been constituted on ''vacation of spectrum and raising resources for the purpose'' under the Chairmanship of External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

The Minister further said no ''Spectrum Allocation Procedure Committee'' had been constituted in Department of Telecom (DoT).
