Malaysian national arrested for using forged credit cards

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) A 37 year-old Malaysian national involved in cheating cases using forged credit cards was arrested here today.

Police said Tseng Tak Weik used forged credit cards of HSBC, Standard Charted and Citi Banks for shopping purposes. They recovered one Malaysian passport, six forged credit cards and some shopping slips from different showrooms of Delhi.

They arrested him when he visited a showroom in Tag Heuer watches in Greater Kailash area of South Delhi, while buying a wrist watch costing about Rs 88,000 and gave his credit card for making the purchase.

However, the owner of the showroom swapped the credit card in the machine and found it to be forged one and immediately informed the police.
