LeT ultra killed in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 26 (UNI) In a pre-dawn operation, Rashtriya Rifles (RR) troops today shot dead a local Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant in Mahore area of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, defence spokesman said.

''Troops of 61 RR encountered and killed a local LeT militant Mohammad Rafiq at Niram, 4 km northwest of Mahore early today,'' Lt Col S D Goswami told UNI.

One AK rifle and a hand-grenade were recovered from the encounter site, he added.
