Lawyers boycott courts in protest against blasts in UP

Jaipur, Nov 26 (UNI) Lawyers in Rajasthan today boycotted courts in protest against the bomb blasts on court premises in Uttar Pradesh which killed over 14 people on Friday.

The courts could not carry out any judical work due to the boycot of the court by the lawyers from High Court to lower courts in the state.

The strike by the lawyers was in response to a call by the Rajasthan Bar Council and the Rajasthan High Court Lawyers Association. The lawyers while strongly condemning the incident paid rich tributes to the victims of the blasts in Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad.
