Koda holds first 'Janta Durbar' in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Nov 26 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today held first 'Janta Durbar' in the state today.

About 450 complaints were taken up for hearing at the Secretariat and Mr Koda addressed the grievances of 150 people.

The Chief Minister solved several problems like unemployment, land disputes and allegation against red tapism alongwith several others on the spot.

Mr Koda also immediately gave the suspension order of a police officer posted at Argora police station following a woman's complaint that some miscreants were trying to capture her land in connivance with the officer.

''Such Durbars will be held regularly and people are encouraged to come with their grievances,'' Mr Koda stated.

The meeting was expected to last till late in the evening.

However, the next date of the durbar was yet to be fixed.
