Gujarat spinners restrict Rajasthan to 248-9

Chandigarh, Nov 26 (UNI) Sitting pretty at 110 for 1 at lunch, Rajasthan slipped to 248 for 9 in 91.4 overs against Gujarat on the opening day of the All India (Under 19) Plate Group matchfor Cooch- Behar Trophy at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here today.

Opener Awijit Singh (68) and Manish (32) were involved in an opening wicket partnership of 55 runs. At lunch Rajasthan were 110 for 1.

Introduction of spin from both the ends in the form of left arm spinner Parth Parikh (5 for 71) and righ arm leg spinner Rahil Shah (3 for 62) changed the complexion of the game as Rajasthan were restricted to 248 for 9 in 91.4 overs.
