Godrej to sell Medical Diagnostic business

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Godrej Industries Ltd today said its Board has approved entering into strategic partnership / joint venture for sale of its Medical Diagnostic business.

The Board has also approved holding of an Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the Members of the Company on December 28, 2007 in this connection, said a statement.

The medical diagnostics division of Godrej Industries was established in 1992. It used to be known as the biotechnology division, and was under Godrej Soaps Limited before coming into the fold of Godrej Industries, following the change in the company's name in 2001.
