Driver chargesheeted for taking Cong MLAs to Assembly in dumper

Bhopal, Nov 26 (UNI) Action has been initiated against the driver who conveyed agitating Congress leaders in a dumper to the main gate of the Vidhan Sabha under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Jahangirabad Station House Officer Pawan Mishra said a chargesheet has been prepared under various sections of the Motor Vehicle Act. The chargesheet would be presented before the court tomorrow.

He said action was being taken against the driver for driving dumper into prohibited area. Further action would be carried out as per court directives.

City Superintendent of Police D S Tomar denied reports of beating up of dumper driver. The driver has neither been arrested nor the dumper seized.
