Dharna for pension hike held

Hyderabad, Nov 26 (UNI) A group of physically-challenged youth staged a dharna at Babujagjivan Ram statue demanding that the government enhance their monthly pension to Rs 1500 from Rs 1000.

Speaking to reporters here, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) leader M Krishna Madiga said the dharna would continue until the government accepted their demands.

Agitators blocked the roads disrupting traffic in the city.
