Delhi lawyers to observe strike tomorrow

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) The Delhi Bar Association today decided to go on strike tomorrow.

The Association will be joining hands with the fraternity across Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Punjab and Haryana High Courts.

Speaking to UNI, Delhi Bar Association president V P Sharma said, ''the call is a protest against attacks on the lawyers in Varanasi, Faizabad and Lucknow.'' All the district courts and the Delhi High court will not witness any work, he added.

Paying homage to the victims of the blast, the lawyers here also wore red ribbons on their arms today.
