CRPF jawan injured in encounter, explosives recovered

Latehar, Nov 26 (UNI) Security forces today recovered explosives from Salve village under Garu police station area in this district after a half hour-long encounter with CPI (Maoist) ultras.

Police said a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, Muzzaffar Shiekh, was seriously injured in the incident and rushed to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi by helicopter.

Four can bombs, one clamore mine, a hand grenade, a walky-talky, fuse wire and naxal literature were recovered from the spot, police added.
