Chhattisgarh govt mulling 'hyper security' in jails
Ambikapur
(Chhattisgarh),
Nov
26:
The
Chhattisgarh
government
is
considering
arranging
'hyper
security'
in
prisons
in
view
of
an
unprecedented
spurt
in
inmates'
escapes.
''The state has a paucity of jails personnel,'' Director-General (Prisons) Santkumar Paswan told mediapersons here yesterday.
About 25 per cent of sanctioned posts for prisons are vacant, the officer claimed.
