Call money rate ends higher at 7.80 per cent

Mumbai Nov 26 (UNI) Inter-bank call money market today closed higher at 7.80 per cent compared to its previous close of 6.25 per cent.

During the day, it touched a high of 8.00 per cent and a low of 6.25 per cent.

Dealers said profit booking by FII's in the equity market, which might have pumped in fresh funds in the system, eased the call rates, trading in the range of 7.00-8.00 per cent for last few days.
