Body of missing photographer recovered

Amritsar, Nov 26 (UNI) The police today recovered the body of a local photographer from Ibben Kalan village on the outskirts of the city.

According to police sources, the body of Avinash Mahajan, who ran a photography shop in the Rani-Ka-Bagh locality of the city was spotted by a villager who reported the matter to the police. He was missing from his house since yesterday.

He was also the president of the local unit of the Dharam Jagaran Manch, a religious body. The police have sent the body for a post mortem and have begun investigations.

After the post mortem report is made avaliable the police will register a case accordingly.
