BJP president Rajnath Singh to launch party campaign tomorrow
Rajkot, Nov 26 (UNI) The ruling BJP will launch its high-profile campaign for the first phase of Gujarat assembly elections tomorrow with party president Rajnath Singh addressing a public meeting at Mavdi chowk in the city.
To woo the educated voters, the party is deploying six vans, equipped with television sets and projectors, in Rajkot district.
The BJP city president Nitin Bhardwaj told UNI that the 'Video Raths' would show special films, highlighting the achievements of the government under Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Each Rath has two 40 inches LCD television sets on each side with DVD, Mr Bhardwaj said. Besides, 100 four wheelers with slogans 'Jitenga Gujarat' will be moving in the district for electioneering, he said.
Rajnath Singh would address the rally at Mavdi chowk at 2000 hrs tomorrow, Mr Bhardwaj said.
Congress has arranged ''Parivartan Raths'', depicting the plight of women and farmers under the BJP rule in the state.
UNI
